The Help Line remains active and we are still here to assist in any way we can. If your call goes to voicemail please leave a message including your name, number and a brief outline of your request. We’ll get back to you as soon as possible.
The information on these pages will be updated where necessary when more information is known.
We understand that shielding is only required for those who receive a written instruction to do so from their doctor. It should be possible for everyone else to go shopping for essentials as necessary.
Supermarkets, pharmacies and other essential shops remain open. Please respect instructions to limit numbers in shops. When inside observe social distancing measures and wear a face covering.
The Williton Coronavirus Community Help Group has been set up in consultation with the Parish Council, local agencies and volunteers.
Do contact us if you are isolated and need help with grocery shopping, medication, dog walking, errands or need a friendly chat. We can put you in touch with someone who can help you.
Please would you also get in touch with us to volunteer your help if you are able to. This could be with shopping, errands, dog walking, chatting with people. We need as many people as possible to help get us through this together.
Only go outside for food, health reasons, exercise or work (but only if you cannot work from home)

Wash your hands as soon as you get home
You can spread the virus even if you don’t have symptoms.
If you're unfortunate enough to be admitted to hospital, for whatever reason,
you won't be allowed to have visitors
so remember to take your mobile phone with you to stay in contact with family and friends.
Don't forget the charger as the hospital won't be able to charge your phone for you.
Please do not be abusive or rude to our volunteers – It will not help us to help you.
